Murdoch's hyenas are at it again
The most unconscionable
tabloid of the world's most unconscionable media czar demonstrates again
that it (The Sun) is the grubbiest and nastiest of all tabloids.
Last week its vile editors
broke an undertaking to the British Royal Family not to invade Prince
William's privacy. Murdoch's Australian opened its report (2 April
2004) on the incident thus:
Britain's royal
family has reacted with anger after The Sun tabloid newspaper
splashed pictures of Prince William with his 'first serious girlfriend'
yesterday, breaking a media deal not to invade his privacy.
The Sun [London] printed a series of photos of William, elder son of the heir to the
throne Prince Charles, enjoying a skiing holiday in the exclusive Swiss
resort of Klosters with a girl the story named as Kate Middleton.
It was the first
time a British newspaper had ignored the agreement...
The only surprise that one should
experience at this news is that those vile media people restrained
themselves as long as they did. But, really, it was simply a case of the hyenas
being beaten back
until they saw the chance to break out all over again.
That they are busting to
subject Prince William to the same treatment that killed his mother is of
absolutely no concern to them. Indeed, they would love to accompany Prince
William back to London in a coffin. A dead girlfriend beside him would help,
too. Just imagine the scoop - and the revenue!
If I were in the unlikely position
of having Queen Elizabeth standing in front of me, I would address her thus:
Your Majesty, these people are the world's
biggest bastards. They have less conscience, and more front, than the Al
Qaida terrorists. In the spirit of Al Qaida terrorists, they will never
change, they will never honour an agreement unless forced to, they hate
everything the royal family and traditional life stand for, their pleasure
is in inverse proportion to your pain...
Stop playing by the rules they
ignore. Hit back. Hit back hard. You know, bastards like these will only
take notice if you take them on. You may give them some free scoops to begin
with, but in the long run most people will support your standing against
them on principle and in defence of decent society. Perhaps you need a good
decent Aussie digger to stick to them... |
