Ray Martin and the Nine Network display their anti-Christian bigotry
once again
The PC class went into a frenzy several weeks ago when John Howard
claimed that state schools were without values and too politically correct.
The media lustily gave opening to all and sundry who wanted to tip the
bucket on our ignorant prejudiced Prime Minister. You know, the usual
stuff...it's like a stuck record.
The Nine Network, which used to be the family network, has been at the
forefront of the attack on Christian family values for some years now. They
are the network which screens the most disgusting, crude, degrading and
vulgar program on television: SEX AND THE CITY. They are the network which
fosters and promotes venal bigoted media whores like Richard Carleton.
Ray Martin and that piddly program he anchors, A Current Affair, show
that they do not want to be left behind their colleagues in the anti-Christain,
anti-traditional-morality stand the network has adopted. Last Night, A
Current Affair ran a 'report' that wonderfully demonstrates what John Howard
was talking about and with which most parents who send their children to a
private school agree.
A fourteen-year-old female student from Lakeside Christian High School
was on national television because she had refused to do what all the other
students had to do: pick up rubbish in the playground. This was obviously a
big story for Ray. Amanda Paterson was the reporter and Amanda wasted no
time in showing whose side she and Ray were on. Sympathetically, Amanda
listened while the snooty fourteen-year-old said she wasn't going to pick up
the rubbish. She didn't put it there! She wasn't going to pick up things
with 'other people's gems, oh-aaark!'
The vision passed to the fourteen-year-old's mother. 'Our children are
not sent to school to clean,' said the mother, 'I was never allowed to when I
went to school...' All sorts of things, like needles, could be in the
rubbish, she said - as if every piece of paper, and lolly wrapper could be
hiding such things. She would not back down even if the school threatened to
expel her pouting fourteen-year-old daughter. No child of hers
would clean up!
To show how much understanding of the issue Amanda had, she exclaimed in
reply to this arrogant speech, 'All over rubbish!' It wouldn't happen
to be about standards, would it,
Amanda?
When the school continued to insist that the fourteen-year-old did what
she was told, like the other students, the snooty mother was up at the
school bashing the ears of the Principal about her precious daughter
who must be exempted from the degrading task of picking up rubbish. Let others,
those more used to demeaning themselves, do
that menial task. And horrors of horrors, the Principal said this (in the
mother's words):
'No wonder your daughter has the attitude she has with a mother with an
attitude like yours.'
Absolutely spot on, Principal. Most parents who send their children to
private schools for both learning and character development will heartily
agree with you. The fourteen-year-old daughter is vain, arrogant, snooty,
and selfish because her mother is vain, arrogant, snooty, and selfish. No
regard here for others in the community. I'm all right, Jack. Stuff the rest
of you.
And what did the ACA reporter, Amanda Paterson, say in reply? 'His
school, his rules.' How dopey can one reporter get?
Amanda, watch my lips. Private schools like Lakeside Christian High
School, are set up to provide education in standards that parents are
seeking and not finding in the state system. There is nothing arbitrary
about the Principal's demands. They are the demands of a school community.
He would not keep his job if he did not foster and preserve those standards.
Try and get it right next time Ray sends you out as a mouthpiece for his and
ACA's anti-Christian bigotry.
And just to demonstrate fully the Prime Minister's point, the camera
switched to Sharon Brownley, President of the NSW P & C. Sharon Brownley, as
P & C President, has ensured that her children in state schools will never
'be forced' to pick up rubbish in the playground. As for the actions of
Lakeside Christian High School, in insisting that their students acknowledge
and obey the rules and standards of the school, Sharon Brownley said it was
typical of 'private school bullying...If you don't conform to the standards
we [meaning Lakeside Christian High School] set, the authoritarian tone we
set, you are out.' Yes, that's what she said. Fair dinkum.
Of course, we know what she means, don't we? The students in state
schools are not to obey the properly designated authority, the school
principal, but jumped-up ideologues like the PC Sharon Brownley. And
practice has shown what happens if you do not conform to the politically
correct edicts of the PC class. You'll be tormented and bullied until you
give in or get out. There's is nothing so unrelenting as the bullying and
torment of the politically correct class. Sharon Brownley has given a good
insight into why so many parents want their kids in a private school.
Amanda, in closing the interview, asked the mother what the solution was.
The mother replied, 'Change the rules...'. That's right, change to the rules
to suit one vain, arrogant, snooty, selfish parent.
It is to be fervently hoped that the Principal of Lakeside Christian High
School does not buckle in the face of the bigotry and persecution of the
National Nine Network. |
