April Fool's Day
Is the Premier of New South Wales impotent in the face
of a political brat's threats?
Kylie Moon, spokesgirl for the Peace Movement, issued a
threat against Australian citizens on Channel Nine's Today show, 27 March
2003. She said:
'We are going to participate in a
non-violent civil disobedience
to stop the city of Sydney'
Is the longest serving Labor premier of New South Wales
afraid to use the power and authority that has been given him by the
electorate to protect the ordinary citizens of Sydney? Or will he let people
of
the Peace Movement run riot again? Will he let the people of the Peace
Movement commit the same violence they have been committing for more than
thirty-five years? Will he let these people make a mockery of Australian
democracy?
A society that lets a state-funded immature brat issue and
carry out a public threat to its citizens is weak, irresolute, and not
worthy of being called a society of democratic citizens. |
