Catholics only ask Neil Mitchell to be fair, and to know the facts and the context

Zenit Newsagency has been reporting widely on the Pope's visit to the US. Today's bulletin tells of the Pope's meeting with some of the abuse victims. The link is below for the full report. As a follow up to my previous comment, I will quote to demonstrate that what I understood about the Pope's reference to prevailing attitudes to sexual morality was correct.

In the Pontiff's address to the U.S. bishops he said the crisis was a cause of "deep shame," and added that the situation needs to be put into the wider context of sexual values.

I have no problem with Neil Mitchell rejecting the Catholic Church or any religion, for that matter. I only expect him to be fair and when he criticises to make sure he know the facts and the context. He has a big audience many of whom would only know about the Catholic Church from what he says.

Fair go, Neil Mitchell. That's all we ask.
