John Brogden - the Murdoch principle is ruthlessly applied
The Murdoch principle - widely understood though never fully enunciated -
states that there is no morality, no standards, no responsibility, no
charity, no feeling, no understanding... just the story that makes money. The best Murdoch
journalist applies this principle unrelentingly until the person chosen for
destruction is destroyed and/or there is no more money to be had from
pursuing the matter. Of course, one does not have to be a Murdoch serf to be
governed by the Murdoch principle. Murdoch's disgusting empire has such
reach and territory that all journalists must apply the principle to remain
on the payroll of competing media companies - who also must make as much
money as possible to satisfy the gigantic egos and greed of their owners. |
