Incest has been brought out the shadows of deviance - what's next?

People should be shocked by the spectacle of a father and daughter appearing on a high rating national television show shamelessly expressing their pleasure in their incestuous relationship, but they should not be surprised by it. It was to be expected.

Through the years many people (including myself) have warned that the arguments to re-categorise and normalise homosexuality can be adduced to normalise paedophilia, bestiality, indeed, the relationship combinations appear endless. The first paragraph on the website of the Dutch political party for the normalisation of paedophilia reads:

Our country (Holland) will have a party that issues from the paedophilia movement. The new political party Love of Neighbour, Freedom and Diversity (NVD) is aiming to legalise child pornography, and sex between adults and children...

Nobody should be surprised by the way paedophile party members justify their cause. One sympathetic correspondent said that the banning of their party would be the overthrow of democracy and the rise of dictatorship in Holland. Another said that homosexuals and Jews had been freed from discrimination, and now it was the turn of paedophiles.

The father's attitude in the glossy "60 Minutes" report was clearly that he and his daughter have a loving relationship and they and their baby are a family like any other. Those who disagree should get over it
