The Chief Commissioner of Police in Victoria has irretrievably politicised her office: she should go - and the sooner the better

Under the headline Nixon gets pride of place in gay parade The Age's reporter gives a gushing uncritical report about Chief Commissioner Christine Nixon taking part in the St Kilda Gay Pride march yesterday. She led a contingent of "about" thirty uniformed police and was supported by Labor government MPs Attorney-General Rob Hulls, Housing Minister Richard Wynne and Health Minister Daniel Andrews. Fans of the march saluted and feted her for her action and Nixon glowingly thanked the gay community for their support.

One can only shake one's head at the barefaced hypocritical political activism of Nixon. Gay pride marches are political manifestations of the doctrines and objectives of gay activism. The appropriately situated St Kilda Gay Pride March is all about gay proselytism and the homosexualising of state and society.

Is there any significance in the fact that the three senior policewomen in this photo are grossly obese?
