14 April 2010ABC poll gives a disturbing look at the rigid bias of Australia's minority but dominant political classThe Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC) is presently running a poll. The results (as of this date at 09.50 am) are below:ABC Web PollShould the Pope be charged with ‘crimes against humanity’, over the alleged cover-up of sexual abuse in the Catholic Church?Yes73.5% Not only Catholics should regard this ABC poll with dismay. The evident bigotry of the majority of ABC listeners should be a worry for all Australians. Here we have a government organisation into which millions of taxpayer dollars are poured for them to propagate falsehood and political prejudice against a great section of the Australian community. The ABC has become a mouthpiece for a minority but dominant class intolerant of opposing political views. Not only Catholics hold social and political views that deviate from those of the ABC propagators and their constituency. Let's get clear what is going on here. These people don't want the Pope brought before the international court to be charged with crimes against humanity because he covered up sexual abuse - which is a despicable lie. They want him charged because he is in diametrical opposition to that whole body of politically correct dogma they are legislatively imposing on the community. If the fascist Left does not shrink from an attempt to destroy the Pope, it will not have the tiniest qualm of conscience in disqualifying their fellow citizen. Indeed, the record of that class leaves no doubt. Comment: gerard@gerardcharleswilson.com |
