Give judgment for me, O God

Website of the month and a few adjustments

I always read Bill Meuhlenberg's articles and comments when they appear in News Weekly. He covers political and philosophical topics that interest me. He has a great breadth of knowledge and his writing is learned but lucid. From an internet search I found that he is a Baptist, National Secretary of the Australian Family Association and teaches theology at several Protestant Bible colleges in Melbourne. I did not realize until recently that he had a website: Culture Watch

A wide range of current issues are dealt with including feminism, homosexuality, health issues, family matters, philosophy and so on. As a Catholic I have naturally some differences on Christian doctrine, but on reading his work I have far more in common with him. Indeed, we are allies against a common foe where social and political issues are concerned. A highly recommended website.

Go to Andrew Bolt blog for quick sharp incisive comment on political and social events and to Culture Watch for the depth and background.

When I went over my entry on political correctness today I found a bit of sloppy writing and some typos. Unfortunately, being my own proof reader (and a bad one at that) and often in haste I sometimes miss mistakes and infelicitous expression. I have made some adjustment and added some explanation where necessary. This coming week I will continue with the entry on conservatism, tying it in with the entry on political correctness.
