3AW's Derryn Hinch leads the dance on the hangman's noose

Like a demented media Pied Piper Derryn Hinch is again fluting all manner of stinking creatures from the Australian society's moral swamp. 'Hang 'em high and hang 'em low', cried one of Hinch's constituency, a cry that abbreviated the rave of so many of his callers. And what are they calling about? They wanted to flick the switch, turn the handle, open the trapdoor, press the button, etc, etc to ensure that an Australian citizen plunges to his death at the end of the Singapore government's noose for possessing 400 gms of heroin.

Leaving aside the issues of capital punishment and the insane severity of the penalty - and Hinch's cockeyed reasoning - it is truly sickening to listen to this sort of ghoulish babble polluting the airwaves.

But this is Hinch's specialty. This is way he has built his constituency. This is the way he has made his big bucks for so many years.
