A homosexual priest and a 28-year-old man after a candlelit dinner and a
moonlight swim
There is still much to be said about the premeditated media attack on
Cardinal Pell on the eve of World Youth Day in Sydney. In my research of the
"Pell Affair" I have come across many interesting comments both from media
figures and individuals commenting on media websites. Below is a comment I
found on
Andrew Bolt's blog.

Tony P. Are you kidding? Naked swimming,
candlelight dinner, sitting on his bed....? So wouldn’t that suggest this
was more than a pastoral conversation? Sorry, mate, but authority figure or
not that should have set alarm bells ringing. He was, I believe, 27...not
some naive kid… and it took him 23 years before he claimed he’d been
assaulted. Was he knocked out, tied up, hypnotised, drugged? This whole deal
was a set up to “get” Pell and an indirect way of attacking the Youth
Festival. I’m an agnostic but sometimes I wish a bolt of lightning would
strike media sleazebags.
Many of us share the feeling of Uka Laylee. Wouldn't it be wonderful if on a
clear moonlight night we suddenly looked up to see a streaming thunderbolt
hurtling towards an area north-west of Melbourne and woke the next day to
hear news of a black smouldering hole in The Age premises?
