14 July 2005The Islamic assassin of Dutch film maker Theo van Gogh would do it all over again…The trial in Holland in which Mohammed Bouyeri is charged with the bestial murder of Dutch film maker Theo van Gogh in busy peak-hour Amsterdam is nearing its end. The prosecution has demanded life-long jail and disqualification of voting rights. Mohammed Bouyeri is the son of Moroccan migrants and possesses both Dutch and Moroccan passports according to Dutch newspaper reports. It seems the prosecution and the majority of the Dutch population will get their wish. Against expectation, Bouyeri, who had refused to comment on the trial until this late date, addressed the court. He said that he acted from 'conviction' (overtuiging), and that he had not been insulted by Van Gogh publicly calling him and other Moroccans 'goat-f---ers' (geitenneukers). By 'conviction', he meant of course religious conviction. He acted according to 'the law that charged him to chop off the head of everyone who insults Allah and the Prophet' ('de wet die mij opdraagt om iedereen die Allah en de profeet beledigt, zijn kop eraf te hakken.') If he was released he would do exactly the same thing. ('Mocht ik vrijkomen dan zou ik precies hetzelfde doen. Precies hetzelfde.') This Islamic person who on his own account was acting according to the law of Islam ambushed Van Gogh on his way to work in a busy Amsterdam street, shot him several times, stabbed him several times, cut his throat, and with a second knife plunged into Van Gogh's body left a message behind. These are the weapons of murder taken from a photo report on the Dutch website of Elsevier: http://www.elsevier.nl/nieuws/nederland/nieuwsbericht/asp/artnr/54255/versie/1/index/html/index.html
Are these the instruments of religion? No, they are not. It may reinforce the anti-religious bigotry of the PC class, but the use of these instruments of bestial murder can never arise from genuine religious belief. Use of these weapons can never be prescribed by those with a genuine belief in an Almighty God. These are the weapons of a Satanic delusion and those that would falsely use them in blasphemously claiming to act on the instructions of the true God are the servants of Satan. |
